The syndrome of Chronic Pelvic Pain almost always have serious psychological implications in men and women suffering from it.

Urogenital pain and dysfunction create a vicious circle which is characterized by depression, more intense pain, feeling of helplessness, longer pain duration, and finally  less satisfactory correspondence in therapeutic methods.
Subsequently the impact on patient's quality of life is enormous.
 
In periods of pain the patient could find it difficult to sleep, to work, to perform simple every day activities, and even refrain from his/her social activities because of the pain.
 
In the Center of Chronic Pelvic Pain we give special attention to the importance of psychological parameters that influence the quality of life, but also the treatment of patients with Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome.
